An exhilarating programme containing some of the finest English choral and orchestral music. Join us for this English extravaganza, as we explore music from the medieval era all the way through to Vaughan Williams's ravishing Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis (performed alongside the theme itself), and his radiant Symphony no. 5 in D, one of the great works of the British 20th Century.
Concert review by M B-L

“The Peregrine Orchestra and Voices, led by the indefatigable Dan Collins, have been crafting concerts of the highest quality for many years, and last night's performance at St. Augustine's church in London's Kilburn was no exception. The program, of mostly English composers, was a joyful, and at times, poignant performance including an outstanding soprano solo by Scarlet O'Shea, featured in Stanford's The Blue Bird. Also included was an impressive use of the newly restored St. Augustine's church organ, played by Jordan Wong, and some audience participation singing joyfully from the song sheets handed out to us of R. Vaughan Williams' For All the Saints, before culminating with Williams' Symphony no. 5. It was moving and thought-provoking evening.
I can't wait to see what Peregrine are going to give us next. Unmissable, in my humble opinion."
